Off-season training
Winter soccer training at home
Cold, dark evenings and no field: ten drills laid out for a wall, a hallway or a garage, each drawn step by step, and a free week for your child's age.
Made for the winter months, indoors, with a soft ball and a clear space. Free, no account needed to read or print.

Rest is part of it
The off-season is not a second season
- The American Academy of Pediatrics advises 2 to 3 months off a sport each year, in one-month blocks, and raising weekly training by no more than 10 to 20% at a time. HealthyChildren.org (American Academy of Pediatrics)
- The National Athletic Trainers' Association recommends fewer than 8 months a year in one sport, two rest days a week, and no more hours of organized sport a week than the child's age. NATA youth sport specialization recommendations
- Use a soft or size-appropriate ball indoors, and clear the space first.
- A wall is the best partner: passes, first touches and keeper catches all work against it.
- Short and often beats long and rare: ten minutes after school is a good session.
Progress you can see
Growth against their own past
In SSTracker every session a player logs, and each personal best, goes on their own growth chart. Parents see it on their child's week card. It is only ever compared with the child's own past, never with other children.
