Is SSTracker free for parents?
Running a team on SSTracker is free for every club, team and family. Training at home (Player OS) is the paid part: your club may include it, or you can turn it on yourself for $7.50 a player or $12 a household a month, after a 14-day free trial with no card. The free drills, printables and weekly workouts on this site need no account at all.
See every price →Is my child's data safe? Do you sell it?
Your child's data is never sold, to anyone. There are no ads and no tracking software, and no AI or outside company receives your child's data beyond the services that run SSTracker. A child under 13 has nothing collected until you verify that you are the parent.
How we protect your child's data →Is SSTracker COPPA compliant?
SSTracker is built to follow COPPA, the children's privacy law: a child under 13 has nothing collected until a parent verifies they are the parent, with a $0.50 card check refunded in full or a signed consent form. We go further and ask a parent's approval for every player under 18. Your consent record is kept and never changed.
Read our children's privacy notice →Does my child need a phone?
No. SSTracker runs in the web browser on any phone, tablet or computer, including yours. Your child signs in with a username and a one-time code you make, so they need no email address or phone number of their own. For ages 4 to 6, you run the short games from your phone.
Try a free week, no account needed →How much should my 9 year old practice?
Athletic trainers (NATA) advise no more hours of organized sport a week than your child's age, so at most 9 hours at 9, with two rest days a week. At home, SSTracker plans at most 4 training days a week and 45 minutes a session for a 9 year old, and most homework drills take about 10 minutes. Rest days are part of training, and practice makes progress.
Soccer drills for 9 year olds →Can I use SSTracker without a club or team?
Yes. A family can sign up on its own, add a child and train at home with no club. Your 14-day trial starts the first time your child trains, with no card. You can invite your child's coach any time later.
Start free training for your child →How do I invite my child's coach?
Send your coach a short email with the free coach page: the button below writes it for you, and every free drill page has an "Invite your coach" button too. Running a team is free for the coach, and they can send the same drills as homework. It goes from you to another adult; nothing is tracked and nobody is rewarded.
Email your coach ✉What does the coach see about my child?
Your child's coach sees the training your child does for the team: homework, logged sessions, test results and their growth chart, and only for players on their own team. Every chart compares your child only with their own start. Mistakes a coach notes are never shown to your child.
Who sees what →Can a coach message my child?
Not one to one. No coach or staff member can send a private message to a child; coaches send team announcements, and parents always get a copy. Every message is recorded.
How we follow SafeSport →Are coaches background checked?
Yes. A team takes no families until its coach is cleared, by a verified background check, or by a clearance from their sport's association or league or another youth organization that is confirmed before it counts. Until then a coach cannot message players or open their records.
Read the clearance policy →Will my child be ranked against other kids?
No. No screen ranks one child against another, and progress compares your child only with their own past. Nothing can be bought to raise a level or win a reward. Every child is enough, and every session counts.
The research behind this →Why are game stats hidden after a game?
Your child's match stats stay hidden for 15 minutes after a game ends: the ride home is for talking about the game, not the numbers. The server holds them back, so it is not just a screen trick. Then you get a short card with a few questions to ask on the way home.
Read the help center →My child is 4, 5 or 6. Is there anything for them?
Yes. Every sport has short games of 10 to 15 minutes for ages 4 to 6 that you run from your phone, each step with a picture and one line to read out loud. There are no positions at this age and nothing compares your child with another child.
Free games for ages 4 to 6 →What sports does SSTracker cover?
22 sports, each with its own drills by age and skill: Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, Football, Tennis, Lacrosse, Swimming, Water Polo, Volleyball, Hockey, Gymnastics, Cheer, Diving, Bowling, Rugby, Flag Football, Field Hockey, Wrestling, Track and Field, Cross Country and Golf. Every drill is checked against its sport's age rules, so a player only sees what is right for their age.
Browse the free drill library →My child is not very sporty. Is it still for them?
Yes. SSTracker is built for every child, not just the stars: drills are short and fun, come in beginner, developing and advanced levels, and growth is measured only against your child's own start. Kids are enough as they are; practice makes progress.
Try a free week at home →How do I pay my child's team fees?
Open Family, then Payments: each fee shows the amount, the due date and the ways your team takes payment. Pay by card where the club offers it, or pay the team directly by Venmo, Zelle, cash or check and tap "I paid the team". The amount always comes from the fee your team set.
Payments in the help center →Can I delete my child's data?
Yes, at any time: in Family, then Household, under your child. Nothing is removed for 7 days, so you can change your mind, and then their information is deleted for good. Only the record of your consent is kept, because the law requires it.
You stay in control →Is there a password to remember?
No. You sign in with Google or with a link we email you, then add a passkey (your phone or computer's face, fingerprint or screen lock) or an authenticator app on your own device. We will never ask you for a password.
Sign in or sign up →Can I try it before I sign up?
