The steps

How it works

  1. Shoot from 14 yards.
  2. Keep moving toward goal after you strike.
  3. Your partner rolls a second ball in from the side; finish it first time.
  4. Do 12 pairs and count the follow-up goals.

Coaching point

Shoot, then follow it in.

Safety: Make sure no one is standing in front of the goal or the wall before you strike.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Rebound game: a partner shoots at the wall or goal and you chase the rebound and finish first time. Pairs count rebounds scored.

Challenge

Levels: Less (slow shot), Core (medium), More (a different angle each time). Beat your own best.

Story

You are a surfer riding the rebound wave in to the shore.
