Coach-Called Placement

A coach calls a corner as you wind up, so you learn to pick your spot late.

The steps

How it works

  1. Shoot from 10 yards.
  2. As you bring your hands back, your coach calls high or low, left or right.
  3. Hit the called corner.
  4. Take 20 shots and try to beat your last count.

Coaching point

Hands back, eyes to the call.

Safety: Shoot only at an empty goal or a goalie in full gear (ND200 chest protector). Keep everyone out of the shooting lane.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Target game: two teams of two take turns shooting at corner targets. Each team counts only its own hits.

Challenge

Pick a target: Less (big), Core (medium), More (small). Beat your own best out of 10.

Story

You are a goal hunter, and each corner is a treasure chest.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own best out of 10. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
