The steps

How it works

  1. Start with the puck behind your back foot.
  2. Sweep it forward, shifting your weight to the front foot.
  3. Roll your wrists and point the blade at your target.
  4. Take 30 shots.

Coaching point

Weight forward, point at the target.

Safety: Keep your stick down and make sure the area around you is clear.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Target-corner game: two teams of two take turns shooting at corner targets. Each team counts only its own hits.

Challenge

Pick a target: Less (big), Core (medium), More (small). Beat your own best out of 10.

Story

You are a goal hunter, and each corner is a treasure chest.

My best
