The steps

How it works

  1. Stand a big step from your partner between two cones 4 steps apart.
  2. Your partner shuffles left and right; mirror them with short slides.
  3. Keep your hips square to them and your hands up at your chest.
  4. Do 6 rounds of 15 seconds.

Coaching point

Stay square, stay in front.

Safety: No contact in this drill; any contact work is only with a coach. Head up and to the side, eyes on the target. Never lead with your head.
