The steps

How it works

  1. One player kicks long; three chasers start level with the kicker.
  2. Chase as a straight line, keeping level with each other.
  3. The catcher tries to run back; chasers pull a tag.
  4. Do 8 rounds and swap roles.

Coaching point

Chase as one line.

Safety: Tag only: touch with two hands or pull a tag belt. No grabbing, pushing or tackling.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Target-kick game: two teams of two take turns kicking to target zones. Each team counts only its own hits.

Challenge

Pick a target: Less (big), Core (medium), More (small). Beat your own best out of 10.

Story

You are a rocket aiming at the moon.
