The steps

How it works

  1. Stand on the line on your toes with arms up.
  2. Turn half way around on the balls of your feet.
  3. Finish in a tall, still pose for 2 seconds.
  4. Do 10 turns each direction.

Coaching point

Rise up, turn, freeze.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Beam buddies: walk the line or low beam while a partner cheers each steady step. Swap, and the pair collects ten steady crossings.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (a wide line), Core (low beam), More (add a turn). Beat your own best steady crossing.

Story

You are a tightrope walker over a canyon, calm and steady.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own best steady crossing. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
