The steps

How it works

  1. Set a bucket on its side 4 steps away.
  2. Chip 10 balls at it.
  3. Move back 2 steps and chip 10 more.
  4. Count your makes and try to beat it next time.

Coaching point

Land it, let it roll.

Safety: At home, use only foam or plastic balls and swing only in a clear space with nothing breakable nearby.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Chip-to-circle game: chip into hula-hoops at different distances, and the pair keeps one total. Swap after each ball.

Challenge

Pick a hoop: Less (close), Core (medium), More (far). Beat your own best out of 10.

Story

You are a gardener dropping seeds into the right flower pot.
