Game version
Shadow-form game: practice the stance and footwork on a partner’s walking line with no contact at all. Swap, and share one thing you liked.
Bags level: from a fit, drive your hips and rip your arms up through a shield.

Set up
Start in a fit with your shoulder on the shield and your head to the side.
Core: Jogs. Beat your own run of balanced stances.
The steps
Coaching point
Hips through, eyes up.
Safety: Only with a coach, in a helmet and pads. Hit the pad with your shoulder and hands, head up and to the side, never your helmet. The holder gives resistance, not a collision.
Make it fun

Pick a level: Less (partner walks), Core (jogs), More (changes direction). Beat your own run of balanced stances.
Story
You are a shadow that stays right in front of its owner.
My best
Beat your own run of balanced stances. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
