The steps

How it works

  1. Lay 6 cones in a wide arc about 25 yards long.
  2. Sprint the arc leaning slightly into the curve.
  3. Walk back and repeat going the other way.
  4. Do 4 runs each direction with full rest.

Coaching point

Lean from the ankles, not the waist.

Safety: Full warm-up first. Stop at the first sign of a tight hamstring.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Curve partners: one runs the curve while the other watches and shares one thing they liked. Swap, then each picks one thing to try next.

Challenge

Choose the curve: Less (wide), Core (medium), More (tight). Aim for smooth, controlled arcs.

Story

You are a swooping eagle riding a curve in the wind.

My best

Beat your own count

Aim for smooth, controlled arcs. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
