The steps

How it works

  1. Warm up with toe taps and sole rolls.
  2. Do 8 moves for 40 seconds each with 20 seconds rest: step-over, V-pull, la croqueta and five you know.
  3. Last round: your parent calls a move every few seconds.
  4. React fast and keep the ball close.

Coaching point

Ball close, both feet. On the called round, react fast.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Move caller: a parent or partner calls the move and you play it. Swap callers each round and keep going together.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (slow), Core (steady), More (unexpected calls). Beat your own best run of correct moves.

Story

You are a dancer, and every move is a step in the show.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own best run of correct moves. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
