Raid the Ball Nest

A team game: move balls from the middle nest to your home by passing, never by running alone with them.

The steps

How it works

  1. Put 6 balls in a middle circle and give each team a home square.
  2. One player runs to the nest, picks up a ball and must pass it toward home.
  3. Teammates pass it along until it reaches home.
  4. Play 3 rounds of 2 minutes and count your team's balls.

Coaching point

Pass it on, keep it moving.

Safety: Warm up first and run on flat, non-slip ground. Stop if a muscle feels tight.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Pass-and-run trio: pass along the line while running forward and count completed passes, then swap. The trio tries to beat its own last count.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (walk), Core (jog), More (pass to the weaker side). Beat your own longest run of passes.

Story

You are a relay of pigeons carrying a message down the field.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own longest run of passes. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
