The steps

How it works

  1. Chasse down the room with pointed toes.
  2. Add a small split leap and land on one bent knee.
  3. Finish with a half turn on your toes.
  4. Do 6 lengths.

Coaching point

Point, reach, land soft.

Safety: Land on a non-slip mat with a bent knee. Stop if your knees hurt.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Form spotters: one shows the skill and the partner shares one thing they liked, like pointed toes or tight legs. Swap.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (shape only), Core (the skill), More (the skill with a held finish). Beat your own cleanest finish.

Story

You are a statue in a museum, perfectly still at the end.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own cleanest finish. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
