The steps

How it works

  1. Stand side by side in front of a mirror.
  2. Do the same eight-count together.
  3. Check that your arms stop at the same height and count.
  4. Do 10 rounds and switch who leads.

Coaching point

Look as one.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Motion mirror: a leader calls the motions and the group copies, sharp and together. Swap leaders each round.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (slow), Core (steady), More (to the music). Beat your own sharpest set of motions.

Story

You are a robot band playing in perfect time.

My best
