The steps

How it works

  1. Write one motion for each count from 1 to 8.
  2. Practice it until you can do it without looking.
  3. Teach it to someone and watch them do it.
  4. Fix one count that was hard to teach.

Coaching point

Simple, sharp, teachable.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Motion mirror: a leader calls the motions and the group copies, sharp and together. Swap leaders each round.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (slow), Core (steady), More (to the music). Beat your own sharpest set of motions.

Story

You are a robot band playing in perfect time.

My best
