The steps

How it works

  1. Pick a short cheer of 2 eight-counts.
  2. Say each word on its count while hitting the motion.
  3. Keep your arms sharp while your voice stays steady.
  4. Do 8 run-throughs.

Coaching point

Words and arms land together.

Safety: Sip water and rest your voice between rounds. Stop if your throat hurts or your voice goes scratchy.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Motion mirror: a leader calls the motions and the group copies, sharp and together. Swap leaders each round.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (slow), Core (steady), More (to the music). Beat your own sharpest set of motions.

Story

You are a robot band playing in perfect time.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own sharpest set of motions. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
