Game version
Bounce hunt: a partner tosses the ball off the wall or backboard and you track it and catch it with two hands. Swap, and count catches together.
Watch shots and learn where misses usually bounce, then race to that spot.

Set up
A parent shoots from the side.
Core: Medium. Beat your own best catches out of 10.
The steps
Coaching point
Watch the ball, move your feet.
Safety: Clear loose balls off the floor under the hoop before you start, so nobody lands on one. Use the hoop and ball for your age: an 8-foot rim and size 5 ball at 7 to 8, a 9-foot rim and size 6 at 9 to 11.
