The steps

How it works

  1. Get in your stance.
  2. Step forward, back, left and right in short steps.
  3. Never let your feet cross or come together.
  4. Move for 30 seconds, rest 30, and do 6 rounds.

Coaching point

When your hands move, your feet move.

Safety: Use a clean mat or soft carpet with space around you. Stop if anything hurts.

Mat follow-the-leader: one person leads a movement and the group copies. Swap the leader each time.

Challenge

Story

You are an explorer crossing the mat like a jungle.
