The steps

How it works

  1. Pick 4 ball-mastery moves you know.
  2. Do one move for 30 seconds, fast but clean.
  3. Rest 30 seconds.
  4. Work through 5 to 10 rounds. At 14 and over, make the work rounds harder.

Coaching point

Keep the touches clean even when tired.

Safety: Counts toward your training time this week. Stop if anything hurts.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Beat-the-song: do quick, clean touches for one chorus of your favorite song, then rest for the verse. Two friends can alternate.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (20 seconds), Core (30), More (40). Beat your own best count of clean touches.

Story

You are a drummer, and the ball is your drum.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own best count of clean touches. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
