The steps

How it works

  1. Set 4 cones in a square, 5 big steps apart.
  2. Cradle with one hand on top as you jog to the first cone.
  3. Switch hands at the cone, keeping the stick in front of your face.
  4. Do 4 laps each way and count drops.

Coaching point

Switch with the stick by your face.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Catch-and-throw pairs: pass back and forth and count catches in a row, taking a step back each time your pair reaches its count.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (close), Core (medium), More (weaker hand). Beat your own longest run of catches.

Story

You are a juggler, and the stick is your magic net.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own longest run of catches. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
