The steps

How it works

  1. Sit with legs straight out in front of you.
  2. Point your toes hard, then flex, then point again.
  3. Lift one straight leg with a pointed toe and hold 5 seconds.
  4. Do 10 lifts per leg.

Coaching point

Squeeze your knees, reach your toes.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Form spotters: one shows the skill and the partner shares one thing they liked, like pointed toes or tight legs. Swap.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (shape only), Core (the skill), More (the skill with a held finish). Beat your own cleanest finish.

Story

You are a statue in a museum, perfectly still at the end.

My best

Beat your own count
