The steps

How it works

  1. Lie on your back with a hand on your belly.
  2. Breathe in through your nose so your hand rises.
  3. Breathe out on a long "sss" sound for 10 counts.
  4. Do 8 breaths, then try it standing.

Coaching point

Belly fills, shoulders stay still.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Crowd-leader game: each person leads a short cheer and the others copy, loud and clear. Everyone leads once.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (one line), Core (two), More (add a motion). Beat your own best clear voice.

Story

You are the voice of the stadium, and the crowd follows you.
