The steps

How it works

  1. Hold the ball at your chest with both hands.
  2. Bend your knees a little, then push up and out.
  3. Push the ball to a partner or a wall.
  4. Do 15 pushes.

Coaching point

Legs, then arms, push!

Safety: Throw only into clear space or a solid wall, with nobody in the way. Use a soft or light ball.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Toss partners: push the big soft ball to your partner and they push it back. The pair counts passes without a drop.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (close), Core (medium), More (a step back). Beat your own best run.

Story

You are an astronaut passing a moon ball.
