The steps

How it works

  1. Do 10 arm circles each way, small then big.
  2. With a light band, do 10 pull-aparts and 10 outward turns with your elbow at your side.
  3. Do 10 slow arm swings across your chest.
  4. Then start easy catch at short distance.

Coaching point

Light band, slow and smooth.

Safety: Use a light band only. This is a warm-up, not a workout.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Base-path follow-the-leader: one person leads a movement between the bases and the group copies. Swap the leader each time.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (slower or smaller), Core (as written), More (one extra twist). Aim for smooth form and compare only with your own last time.

Story

You are a base runner exploring the diamond.

Beat your own count

Aim for smooth form and compare only with your own last time. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
