Signs and Crowd Prompts

Use signs, poms and big gestures so the whole crowd joins in, not just the front row.

The steps

How it works

  1. Hold a sign high and still so the crowd can read it.
  2. Point to one side of the crowd, then the other.
  3. Lead a chant that builds from quiet to loud.
  4. Do 6 rounds with your team.

Coaching point

Big, slow, easy to follow.

Safety: Sip water and rest your voice between rounds. Stop if your throat hurts or your voice goes scratchy.

Make it fun

Play it, don't drill it

Game version

Crowd-leader game: each person leads a short cheer and the others copy, loud and clear. Everyone leads once.

Challenge

Pick a level: Less (one line), Core (two), More (add a motion). Beat your own best clear voice.

Story

You are the voice of the stadium, and the crowd follows you.

My best

Beat your own count

Beat your own best clear voice. Only your own number counts: today against last time.
